How to Hide Specific User Accounts From the Sign-in Screen in Windows 10

Windows 10 by default will display the user's full name on the sign-in screen, but to hide certain User Accounts you must know the account name. You can find this information by going to “Local Users and Groups”. Or you can also do it this way:

1. Use the Windows key + R shortcut to open the Run command, type “netplwiz”, and click OK to open User Accounts.

2. Select the account you want to hide and click Properties.

Sign-out and you will now see that the account is no longer on the sign-in screen. Even by doing this, you are hiding the account from the operating system, including from the Start menu, from the Control Panel, and even from the Settings app.

To restore the account, you must again perform the steps above, and change the username key value from 0 to 1.
