How to Disable Login after Sleep in Windows 7

Security is one of the important things in using the operating system, especially Windows 7. The policy of a user to secure the operating system he uses is necessary to prevent unwanted things from happening to users who do not have permission to use it. But for some people, the login facility provided by Windows is not necessary, especially if the login is requested when the computer is turned on after sleep. There is an easy way to disable login after sleep which we will cover in this issue.

Automatic Login after Sleep

When later logged in after sleep is disabled, then when the computer is turned on from sleep the Windows desktop immediately appears and can be used. The settings are as follows:

1. Open Control Panel and select Power Options.

2. In the left pane, Click Require a password on wake up.

3. At the bottom of the settings window that opens, select Don't require a password in the Password protection on wakeup section.

So when you want to activate the login again, select Require a password so that after sleep there is login authentication from the user.

4. Click Save changes to end the settings

When is automatic login required?

Automatic login after sleep can shorten the time it takes to open the desktop without having to enter a password first. This method is recommended if you do not allow other people to access your computer, for example family or roommates that you trust. But for computers that are in the work environment, it's a good idea to keep the login facility provided so that no one messes up your work.
