Guest accounts in Windows allow other people to use your computer without being able to change PC settings, install applications or access your personal files. Here's how to create a Guest Account in Windows 10:


1. Right-click on the Windows key and select Command Prompt (Admin). This is the fastest way to open Command Prompt as administrator.

2. Click “Yes” when asked if you want to continue.


3. Type the following command and then click Enter:


net user Visitor /add /active:yes

4. Press Enter twice when prompted to set a password. This will create a blank password for the account. If not, then skip this step.


5. Type the following command and then click Enter:


net localgroup users Visitor /delete


This is to remove all visitor users from the default group.


6. Type the following command and then click Enter:


net localgroup guests Visitor /add


This is to add a visitor user to the guest account group.


And done! You can close the Command Prompt.



How to Switch to Guest Account


1. Click the Windows button.


2. Click on the user name.


3. Click Guest.
