For people who want to feel more control with their PC, the main Control Panel in Windows may feel a bit limited. One solution is GodMode, a secret control panel in Windows. GodMode is accessible from Windows XP and above, but not on 64-bit versions of Vista.

Create a GodMode Control Panel shortcut

1. Right click on your desktop.

2. Hover over “New” in the menu. Then click “Folders.” A new folder will appear on your desktop.

5. After GodMode is created, you should learn about the new control panel. This file is quite complex, as there are about 270 different options, from 42 different categories, which allow you to control almost every part of your system.

Open the GodMode folder, then right-click on the top item, and select “Collapse all groups” from the drop-down menu. With this, you can see more of the different menu items.
