How to Disable Web Results when Searching in Windows 10

The search box in Windows 10 makes it very easy to find a document or any application. However, if you type in the search box in Cortana, the search results that appear will mix with your web results and local files. Sometimes the web result is even above the local file you want to find. This can slow down your search process.

Here's how to stop Windows 10 search from showing web results:

Note: To disable web results in search, you must also disable Cortana.

1. Select the search box on the Windows 10 taskbar.
