Bad Sector Repair in Windows 10

I upgraded to Windows 10. When creating a hard disk image for backup, Windows 10 reported that the backup failed because of bad sectors. Can anyone tell me how to repair bad sectors in Windows 10? The drive I am checking is the main driver of the C: system.

What should I do if the hard disk has bad sectors in Windows 10/8/7?
A bad sector is a sector on a computer disk drive or a flash memory that cannot be accessed or written due to physical damage on the surface. The disk or flash transistor failed. Use Windows built-in tools to repair bad sectors in Windows 10
Step 1. Open this PC, right-click the system drive, and select properties.
Step 2. Go to Tools, and click Verify. Click "Verify" under "Error Checking".
Step 3. View the scan results, and then click "Scan and Repair Drive".
Step 4. Choose when to repair the file system. Wait for Windows 10/8 to scan and repair bad sectors on the hard drive.
